carries nothing: the Queen’s ant pin
brings information
the ant does not forget its mission
and the Queen does not thank: direct
orders and each ant knows
to how to fulfill its part: they leave
ordered in the informed direction
feet knead the row
which is undone in disorder
some come back others start
their own journeys.
